Our Family Holiday to Robe SA and why you should go!

Hello friends x

We took a little break from the hustle and bustle of city living and drove over to Robe in South Australia. I love taking some time off during the first weeks of January, it helps me to stop and disconnect from the world enabling me to come back refreshed for the new year.

If you have never been to Robe before and it's on your bucket list I 100% recommend visiting. The beaches are stunning and you can drive on them too, find a secluded section of Long Beach and you'll be there for hours and hours. They recommend taking a 4x4 vehicle but there were cars of all kinds along the beach! Don't forget to take shade and sunscreen.

Now I know this is a big statement to make but you'll also find the best fish and chips in the world at the fresh seafood shop by the jetty in Kingston. That meal alone was worth the 8 hour drive.

Enjoy these random snaps from our holiday, if you have any questions about travelling to Robe on the Limestone Coast of South Australia I've linked the South Australia's website below or you can find me on Instagram x

A highlight of the trip was enjoying fish and chips while watching a fishing boat expertly maneuver into its berth at the marina. The boat's arrival was truly impressive, with the captain skillfully executing a 180-degree turn to secure the vessel. We then observed the crew unload a fresh catch of crayfish and later watched as another crew member arrived to perform routine maintenance on the boat. It was a fascinating glimpse into the daily operations of a local fishing business.

And for all my book girlies out there I can confirm The Assassin's Blade was epic. I'm glad to be home to read book 2! I've read a few books since reading ACOTAR and I really forgot how beautifully SJM writes. I've been warned I am in for the ride of my life and I am totally here for it hahaha
